Blogger Sign-Ups for the 2013 Summer Author Promo Blitz

Here’s a fantastic opportunity for all my lovely blogger friends!  Who wants to have a TON of summer fun in July?  I know I do!  The other day, I was brainstorming ideas for some sort of huge, fun, summertime blowout and came up with an idea.  I says to myself, I says, “Belle, let’s organize a summer blog tour to promote some of your favorite authors and author friends.”  I nodded in agreement and replied, “Urmegur, Belle!  You’re brilliant!  Has anyone ever told you that?  And glamorous, too, and …” 

Ahem, sorry about that, I got a little sidetracked.  Back to the story…

So, I contacted my friend Tabatha at Montgomery County Book Festival to see what she thought.  She messaged some of her author friends to query their interest. Meanwhile, I messaged some of my author friends on Facebook to see if they were interested.  While all of that was going on, LB and I took a stroll down to Compicpalooza and met ourselves a whole bunch of new authors.  The idea spread like wildfire!

Well, one thing led to another, and what started as a small summer promo blitz turned into something GIGANTIC!  Peeps & Peepettes, we’ve got 30+, actually near 40 at the time I’m writing this post, and that list may keep growing for a few more days.  I began panicking, chewing my nails, walking around like a zombie, and talking to myself (more than normal).  How was I going to put this thing together?  I needed professional help— and not the kind you’re thinking!  So I did the only thing I could.

I contacted Kerry-Ann at Dilly Dally PR to see if she wanted to help a girl out.  I mean, she’s redheaded, I’m redheaded.  That should account for something, right?  Well, it did!  So, now we’ve got a blog tour host on the team!  Mission accomplished.

What sorts of things do we have up our proverbial book-worm-sleeves?  Be prepared for GIVEAWAYS that would make any book-nerd drool, interviews, guest posts, character interviews, a FUN scavenger hunt, Twitter parties, Facebook events, etc.

Also, not only do we have FANTASTIC authors spanning the genres, we’ve also got the wonderful Pam Stack of Authors on the Air who will be interviewing our authors on her radio show!
